Cataract Surgery: Dr. Matt Wesson specializes in traditional out-patient cataract surgery, as well as cataract removal with an accomodative lens exchange so patients can enjoy life without the dependency of glasses for distance and near vision. He has performed over 15,000 cataract surgeries.
Wesson & Mothershed Eye Center also offers Crystalens, the first and only accommodating intraocular lens technology for those struggling with cataracts.

Lid Surgery: Dr. Howard Beale, an oculoplastic specialist from Memphis, Tennessee, performs both medical and cosmetic lid surgery at our facility. He also specializes in tear duct repair and reconstruction. Dr. Beale sees patients at Wesson and Mothershed Eye Center twice per month.

Retina Surgery: Dr. Seth Yoser from the Vitreoretinal Eye Specialty Group in Memphis, Tennessee, sees patients at Wesson and Mothershed Eye Center twice per month by referral. He specializes in diseases of the retina. He performs laser surgery for both diabetic and hypertensive eye disease as well as macular degeneration. Dr. Yoser also performs retinal evaluations and non-surgical treatments for other various retinal conditions and diseases.

Refractive Surgery (LASIK/CK): Dr. Subba Gollamudi from the Vitreoretinal Eye Specialty Group in Memphis, Tennessee, performs both Wave-front LASIK and Conductive Keratoplasty (CK) on patients desiring to be less dependent on glasses or contact lenses for both distance and near vision. Dr. Gollamudi is a corneal specialist and has performed over 5,000 refractive surgeries.
